Putnam County Medic 300
Medic 300 has established themselves as an important, vital part of the EMS system in Putnam County. Since it's inception in the summer of 1998, Medic 300 has seen many advances. One of the most important advances has been the Monday through Friday24 hour paramedic coverage.
Medic 300 is equipped with a 12-lead heart monitor, oxygen, airway equipment and drugs. When responding to an emergency run, Medic 300 has the vital equipment needed for a life-threatening emergency.
As well as rendering emergency care, the Medic 300 program is responsible for training EMT’s in intubations, AED use, patient assessment, etc. Medic 300 assists at accident scenes, gives squad lifting assistance when requested and delivers equipment as needed.
