| A different approach to
conducting the spotter program will be utilized during the coming years. In
an effort to be more efficient with resources, classes will be offered
during the months of January and February, and presented to multiple
counties. Each year, a different county within the group will host a class,
and rotate to the next county the following year. Coordination should be
done between the Emergency Management Agencies (EMA) of the grouped counties
to select a date and location for the class. Those individuals interested in
attending a class should contact the EMA office of their respective county.
Spotter Classes will be presented ONLY during the months of January and
February, and NO dates have been selected as of January 1, 2001.
Also, for the Advance SkyWarn classes, the attendee should have taken the Basic/Intermediate class at least one year prior. |
